The Paris Motor Show is an event you won't want to miss. It is being held at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles and begins on the 4th of October until 19th October. We're giving you a head start, by letting you know in advance, so you can begin to make your preparations. Be sure to mark the dates in your calendar and make sure you arrange your hotel bookings with us. Secure your rooms early and snap up any special deals, or promotions that may be on offer.
The theme for the Paris Motor show, is 'The Automobiles and Fashion'. Both industries were conceived in the middle part of the Industrial Revolution and since the time of their conception, they have shared commonalities, in regards to interests of design. You'll see how both designers of fashion and automobiles, focus on craftsmanship, colour, shape and lines, within designs.
The Automobiles and Fashion exhibition moves steadily through a timeline, which begins at the pre-war era, highlighting Haute Couture and Concours d'elegance. The post war era, with the Automobile dream, age of Pop Art and the Sixties and Seventies, with futuristic automobile creations and our current period, with eco-friendly vehicles, all clearly illustrate the merging of lines, defining the automobile and fashion industries.
During the exhibition, you'll get to see well over 40 cars too, which is an added bonus. You'll truly appreciate the peaceful and pleasant surroundings at the Hotel Opera Lafayette, after long days spent at the Paris Motor Show exhibition. Our hotel is located in a prestigious part of the city, between the Opera aera and Gare du Nord train station.
